No. Take your time building and refining your strategy. Saving the card keeps your draft ready; your agent launches when you choose Start the agent.

Waiting can be part of the strategy. Your agent may decide that the right conditions haven’t arrived. An order can also be blocked by a trading limit or fail to execute. Open Activity to see what happened, then check Positions and Trades for the outcome.

No. Your agent runs autonomously, following its schedule and triggers even when you’re away or your browser is closed.

To stop your agent, you can pause it in Agent settings or revoke its trading authority on Hyperliquid. Existing positions and resting orders stay open until you manage them separately. See Pause and revoke access.

Does chatting with an agent place a trade?

Use chat to explore your agent’s thinking, refine its strategy, and give it direction. Chat itself doesn’t place trades or trigger a trading turn. If your agent proposes a settings change or a persistent instruction, you review and approve it before it takes effect.
